I’m preparing for Dorset Art Weeks. I'm venue 188 (dorsetartweeks.co.uk/venues/marc-ye…) if you'd like to see my work, especially my seascapes, up close and personal. I'll be open throughout the period from the 23rd May to the 7th June, 10.30-4pm except Sundays and Mondays when I’m closed.

I'm back in the studio painting after a brief hiatus. Here's my effort completed yesterday. Titled 'Cornakey Cliff, Cornwall'. This 50x50cm framed oil on canvas gave me great pleasure while painting it.

In 2022 @thewittjones composed In Our Service to mark Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee. A Co-commission with the @RSCMCentre, the piece was sung by over 500 choirs around the world as part of the Jubilee celebrations. Enjoy this lovely performance by @RoyalHollChoir

Queen Elizabeth II acceded to the throne #onthisday in 1952, upon the death of her father, King George VI. She was crowned in the Abbey the following year, and went on to become the longest-reigning monarch in British history. This portrait of the late Queen wearing her State dress and robe, and standing on the Cosmati pavement in the Abbey, is by Ralph Heimans.
