just hit $40k MRR — not saying it to flex, but to show what’s possible. if others didn’t share their wins, I’d never have known what mobile apps can really do, how to start, or what to aim for. so I’ll try to find time and share more about how my app grew — hopefully it helps someone else on the way up too. so here’s my marketing strategy: My main marketing strategy is testing 2–3 videos daily on TikTok and YouTube Shorts ( insta reels didnt work for me). since my accounts have small followings, if a video hits 1k+ views in the first few hours, I run ads on it (Meta & TikTok). I don’t do influencer marketing — it was too expensive for me (couldn’t find any solid ones under $1k), and I don’t use UGC either. this is just what I’ve done and what worked for me — not saying it’s the way for everyone. also, for monetization, I removed the free trial and switched to a $6–8 weekly subscription.
