Everyone advised me to buy a 2005 Toyota Corolla NZE that was reliable, cheap to maintain, and would probably still be serving me faithfully to date.But no, young and financially unserious me chose “German engineering” with Kenyan budget maintenance. The car spent more time at the garage than on the road.
Eventually I dumped it after endless breakdowns.It was a junk
One of the biggest financial lessons I learnt early:

Call for help. My mum was hit with a stroke in may 2024. Since then our lives haven't remained the same. My family have spent all our savings yet her condition hasn't changed. She has severe BP challenge, she has diabetes. Which has gone on to take a toll on her kidneys.

I doubt. BMWs and Benzes are primarily RWD. Audis/VWs are primarily FWD/AWD. Those driving dynamics are unmistakable, especially at 300hp-400hp. Anyone who says they still feel the same will also not find a difference with Jap cars in the conversation.

Other engine characteristics notwithstanding, more cylinders is undoubtedly better. But you can always pick a rev-happy 4/6pot over a lazy V8. Unfortunately, most of them bore coz they cost more to engineer, so fewer V8s are actually fun, even fewer V10s, V12s, etc.
