UPDATE | Zvikomborero Makedenge (33), a US-based woman, who was accused of sexuaIIy assauIting a ‘16’ year-old boy in Glen View, has been acquitted today. No details of the court’s decision have been released yet. Makedenge, who was the girlfriend of a tenant living in the complainant’s house, was alleged to have followed the young boy to his room on 2 August 2025 this year and forcibly had sexuaI intercourse with him without his consent. She reportedly told him not to tell anyone and promised to take him to the US, where she is formally employed. The complainant had informed his sister, who then told their mother. The mother filed a complaint at Mbare police station, which led to Makedenge’s arrest. @NPAZim
