One of my meaningful occupations is reading and talking about crystals. My friend brought me this beautiful candle. All for starting in new post this week. Change is good, but makes you realise how much we are habitual creatures.

Maybe an occupational approach could help? More time out or cells. Increased structured, challenging activities (outside of education/work), and regular groups and sessions to develop skills to live better and happier lives.

My role as a Mom is really important to me and definitely shapes my identity. I always want them to feel that home is home. Now there growing I am finding out who I am yet again as that need and role changes as they grow. #momlife #growingchildren

@MOHOspark It took me a few years, I reckon after qualifying to feel like occupational therapy was a part of my identity and not just a role (I'd considered walking away early on). There may be something to do with competence in there. I'm proud to be an occupational therapist now.

Following the creative activity recovery through activity group a patient made me resin Christmas decorations to say thank you. She wrote me an absolutely beautiful note to. She has also started swimming and starting other groups. Just so proud 😁 @MOHOspark

Patients from recovery through activity group wanted to do me a leaving party an brought me a OT survival kit. so overwhelmed with their kindness. They said it was share self care activity. @MOHOspark without your amazing book we wouldn't have these amazing groups
