Me on X: 60,000 followers in 6 months. Max Fawcett on X: 57,500 followers in 16 years. 🤣 The difference: I do this for fun. I don’t get paid. I turn down sponsorships. I get higher viewership numbers across my socials than all of Canada’s mainstream media TV/news channels combined. The best part: I don’t care & I spend maybe 25 minutes a day on it. Most videos I make take me 4-5 minutes on avg. I post what I want. When I want. I answer to no one. And more importantly, I don’t suck the teet of the government taking billions in taxpayer dollars. Mainstream media is dying. They are losing the trust of the people. Corporate & taxpayer dollars stifle them from doing great work & exposing the corruption & realities of what’s going on in this country. This is the only reason I have succeeded: I’m direct. I will tell uncomfortable truths. I don’t care about your feelings: facts are facts. Everyone is so politically correct. So polite. So afraid of controversy. I don’t care what you think of me. I can literally shut it all down tomorrow & not lose sleep or be bothered. Mainstream media will never be like this. That’s why they fail & viewership numbers will only continue to decline. Why do I suspect CBC will shut me down next? 🤣
