@hipowermutant @unmundig @TexasAnCap Never said it didn’t, red litteraly implies that you chose to not take the risk of dying You are just mad that people would rather choose no risk rather than risk, also very immature of you to say that last line, im acknowledging your arguments, you just wanna feed your ego lol

@marisaderlol @unmundig @TexasAnCap Self-preservation means aligning with a tribe vs alienation. Cooperation takes more than an individual. It doesn't matter how hard you try to change the facts to suit your personal bias. Thanks for playing.

@hipowermutant @unmundig @TexasAnCap The typical human behavior is self preservation and cooperation, they both existed at the same time, how can you not see that the red button literally saves you 100% of the times, it’s a logical choice that satisfies the biological need of survival without taking a single risk

@marisaderlol @unmundig @TexasAnCap "Easier" now? Red is illogical and contrary to typical human behavior. Just admit you don't care if other people have to die for you to live. Why lie about your motives if you're si justified? Facts don't care about your preferences.

@hipowermutant @unmundig @TexasAnCap The world is not perfect, it’s obvious blue is the right choice in a perfect world, Red is a logical choice since it basically saves you instantly with no uncertainty, both options are right because the world is not perfect

@marisaderlol @unmundig @TexasAnCap Blue = everyone lives Red = some people die without 100% alignment Blue is the logical choice. It doesn't matter how many times y'all argue otherwise. You cannot be right without changing the question because 100% is statistically improbable. And the numbers prove it.

@marisaderlol @unmundig @TexasAnCap The question wasn't about the individual's choice as it pertains to the individual. So, just like we've seen for days from a plethora of red pushers... Red is only the logical choice when you change the question. Because red isn't the logical choice.

@hipowermutant @unmundig @TexasAnCap At the end of the day it comes down to what the goal is If it’s to save humanity then people should chose blue to guarantee a better world and to everyone to live But red it’s still a logical choice for the individual since it doesn’t allow uncertainty to exist in it

@marisaderlol @unmundig @TexasAnCap No one is blaming red. We don't have to. Blue won. Blue = everyone lives Red = some people die Red is only certain in the sense that it certainly causes catastrophe.

@hipowermutant @unmundig @TexasAnCap It all depends whether you think people would think about themselves or press red, if your goal is to safe everyone then press blue, but don’t blame red knowing the risks you are talking Red is a choice with no uncertainty making it smart Blue has uncertainty making it risky

@hipowermutant @unmundig @TexasAnCap Red is just safe over uncertainty, Id rather not die than to risk myself to rely on others decision, so red is the logical choice if you want to live because you don’t have to rely on uncertainty, blue is the unstable and not reliable choice since it relies on uncertainty

@marisaderlol @unmundig @TexasAnCap >50% vs 100% Blue depends on a majority to save everyone. Red depends on 100% alignment to save everyone. Red is not only more uncertain; it is safely unlikely. Red is pulling the trigger on others. Blue is blocking the bullet.

@PhyxicxGaming @mikethree Red voters are selfish themselves, they don’t care about civilization, I don’t either, I want to live even if it’s in a world full of untrust

That's fine. I'm not trying to say that red people are immoral. (Although some straight up have said they want all blue voters die.) I'm just pointing out the flaw in a lot of red voters' logic. They think it's the most intellectual option, but they're not considering that billions will die if everyone has the same "I'm not trusting everyone"-mindset. That would be absolutely catastrophic for human civilization. I doubt many people are thinking that far. They're just thinking "I pick red, I live, yay!" Not even engaging with the question.

i think it’s entertaining how blue button pushers imagine themselves as heroic and making a sacrifice nobody needs to press the blue button, nobody needs you to come to their rescue and save them, you cant even save yourself we can all just push the red button and survive

@mikethree Blue button voterss are thinking about the aftermath. They don't want to live in a world where up to 49% of humanity dies. "If everyone just presses red we all live!" Yes, but if only 50%+1 pick blue, we get the same result. Which one do you think is more realistic?

"The red button is the most logical choice" presupposes the end goal is purely self preservation and nothing more. Blue is a perfectly logical choice if your goal is protecting the most amount of people.

@marisaderlol @unmundig @TexasAnCap Right but again... the question isn't about saving yourself. It's about the consequences of your choice. You're saying, "It doesn't matter that I voted to kill everyone because at least I saved myself." Is that "good" to you?

@DarienMiskin @Spauldimus @DeckplateOpsO @Prowl8413 @LittleMoonBoy1 Of course I understand that nothing happens to people who pick red. What you seem to not understand is that by picking red you are directly increasing the death potential for anyone who chose blue. And why would anyone pick the button that could result in killing billions?

This is a test of selfishness and lack of care for others. If you puck blue, you want everyone to live. If you pick red, you dont care that people who picked blue die. There is no other way to argue this. Statistically you cant get more than like 70% of people to agree on almost anything, so picking red, youre ok with wiping out like 30%+ of people. Its easy to make that choice when you don't know who the 30% is. This shows a lack of empathy, and forethought, because surely you will have some family members, your mom, brother, niece, etc that pick blue, and had you known that consequence beforehand, you would have chosen different. This sort of experiment seems benign, but its a glimpse at how the 45% or so of people actually feel about the 55% that chose correctly. They will sell you down the river quick if they dont know you personally, but then play ignorant/stupid when the consequences hit them personally.
MrBeast@MrBeast

Everyone on earth takes a private vote by pressing a red or blue button. If more than 50% of people press the blue button, everyone survives. If less than 50% of people press the blue button, only people who pressed the red button survive. Which button would you press? BE HONEST.

@marisaderlol @unmundig @TexasAnCap Blue doesn't need everyone to choose blue. They only need a majority vote. Red needs everyone to choose red. So again, >50% vs 100% to achieve "no harm done"

@satanachiadrag the choices where the same, if you dont want to risk dying, press red. i dont owe anyone my life, nor a risk to it, and its not my fault if i choose the only option that guarantees it. im not making anyone press blue and no one is forced to press blue. thats their choice.
