I have also use TikTok as an engagement tool. I create TikTok inspired phonics songs and kids really enjoy learning with them 😍 @DrEddiesClass #CSUBTEd

@JovanaEspinoza8 @teachsci8 I completely agree! It is a problem since COVID is still very present and many places that are open, do are not open for a lot of hours. It'd be great if they added more hours so people can work more time.

@teachsci8 A3: One way to help make internet available to more members of the community is have libraries open more hours. This would have to wait until COVID is over. Covid is the most immediate obstacle for students, but a way to overcome this is to look into programs which lend hotspots.

@AlyssaS45323929 @teachsci8 Hi Alyssa, I agree. I think CSUB has helped many students out with the laptop loan program. I think that something that could be a potential solution to the WiFi connections is to have different areas that have WiFi so people can work there.

@teachsci8 A3: To make technology accessible to all corners of the community, I can see something like the laptop loan program we started at CSUB due to Covid-19 becoming a formal thing for some schools. The main issue, however, would be WiFi network connections.

@stephctech @teachsci8 I think Duolingo would be amazing to use! I didn't even think of using it. It is forsure a great app to incorporate in ones classroom to help students out.

@beatriz07638551 @teachsci8 Hello Beatriz! I as well think that Kahoot is very fun to use and can forsure help English learners participate and learn in a fun way. This also allows students to see how well they are doing as they use Kahoot.

@teachsci8 Kahoot is such an interactive and fun program to use for everyone. This program is specially helpful for English learners because they can participate and learn without having to be put on the spot essentially. @teachsci8 #edte4200

@teachsci8 A1: A big way to interact and really enhance relationships in the classroom is google tools. They gave things like meets and docs which really gives you the opportunity to interact/connect with students and give live feedback.

@teachsci8 A3: To make internet more accessible I think they should provide more hotspots or areas where people can have internet access. As of now some big challenges are COVID and the expensive prices that Internet companies have which many people cannot afford.

@teachsci8 A2: I think kahoot and flipgrid allow ELL students to interact with others in different and fun ways. This ultimately allows them to learn in a fun environment and practice their English.

@teachsci8 A1: I think that google classroom/google tools can help enhance student learning and relationships through distance learning. It gives the teacher and student an easy way to communicate and stay informed.
