Today I completed my first ever day of casual teaching in stage 1! Ended up with a headache but it was worth it 😅

On my prac, the students come in after recess and lunch and do their breathing to calm themselves down before getting back into learning 🧘🏼‍♀️🍃

Using musical instruments to gain and refocus student’s attention has proved to be very effective on prac in my year 1 classroom and has helped me save my voice for the teaching side of things. #acuedu_p
