I won’t lie, this had me tearing up 🥺 Being able to work with such great, enthusiastic, and smart student scholars means the world to me.

Couldn’t be prouder of Amaka, who presented her first poster today at #TTUURC. We both learned a lot finding a project that incorporated her interests in forensic anthropology and her passion for addressing inequity in health care (she’s pre-med and an anthro major). Guns up!

@goots_alexis Ask for cameras on if/when they’re comfortable (it’s hard teaching to blank screens), ask them questions (they can answer on mic or in chat), give them space to ask questions, be comfy with awkward silence (someone will fill it eventually), encourage them to introduce their pets
