This is really important for the NHS. The economy sometimes feels abstract to the fate of the NHS but it is vitally linked. We have an increasing tax burden for health and care, without increasing tax revenue. The maths are undeniable. The economy grows or NHS shrinks.

Is there a better single word to describe technology in the NHS than fragmented? Perhaps variable?

Challenging poor behaviour, especially when it impacts on others, is an essential part of being “kind” IMHO. It doesn’t mean just agreeing with everyone & letting it ride. Some of the most ruthless, self centred individuals I’ve met go on about kindness & compassion constantly 🤷‍♀️

I am so passionate about digital transformation . But this. This is so important. Talk to any nurse or dr on a ward today, in most* hospitals- they don’t care about AI, they don’t care about fancy- they just want kit that works, quickly and reliably #infrastructure #ITsupport
