It's a great tool for evaluating investing strategies, without putting your money on the line. The option to collaborate in a group setting, but have the setting small, so it is less intimidating, is great for students. You benefit students both academically and socially--a win-win. #csubted #csubedte4200 #edtech @Duncannedd

The numerous options inspire engagement, are free, and are always available. #csubted #csubedte4200 #edtech @Duncannedd

This is one of the benefits of technology, especially the open-source stuff you can change for your particular need(s). The issue though, is access. I would prefer the tools cost money, but access be free and universal. Pipe dream, I know.

@_alexisr20 @Ststansberry @teachsci8 @brandon_edu @doctor2pi It will take original ideas to make technology accessible to all. It won't happen in any absolute sense due to money constraints, but this is a wonderful idea that should be copied wherever and whenever possible.

There's already access at libraries, but we can expand on this. The biggest barrier to community-wide technology is money. It's always about $$. #csubted #csubedte4200 #edtech @Duncannedd

@tom_karnes @aavina33 A2: ELL students tend to need support in basic phonics skill, especially at a young age. I implement the online program "teachyourmonstertoread". This program is free and helps student build strong phonological awareness in a fun and game-like manner. #CSUBTEd @DrEddiesClass

@tom_karnes @aavina33 Kahoot! is a fantastic tool to help ELLs. The ability to make a potentially frustrating experience more fun is a win in my book. The audiovisual learning games and assessments add spice and fun to the learning experience. #csubted #csubedte4200 #edtech @Duncannedd

Personally, my primary uses will be that of collaboration and communication. I love Padlet for collaboration, and the Remind App for communication. #csubted #csubedte4200 #edtech @Duncannedd
