@mark_dh89 @jcalvinmeyer He has value because he plays infield and outfield, perfect for the 13th man. But people saying he’s better than Holliday and Blaze or that he should lead off are absolutely nuts. I think he’s last on the team in on base percent, just wild swinger.

@jcalvinmeyer Every game Jackson swings at every pitch, 0 walks on the season, kills a team. Gotta up the pitch count, get to the bullpen.
He went 0/4 on 7 pitches the other day and I think he swung at all 7 pitches.

I'll still maintain, Wieters was the most anticipated that I can remember (I was three when Ben McDonald's debuted).

@MojoTilty Yeah I have major questions about Bradfield’s bat. But at the same time, this defense is gonna cost our pitchers so many runs this year. They gotta do something

@mark_dh89 I don’t know how we can do it but Cowser almost won a gold glove in LF, he gets good jumps and has an arm. Can we put him in Left, Bradfield in CF, Beavers in RF, Ward at DH. That solves the defense.
Bradfield needs to learn how to hit.

Bo Bichette’s “welcome to NY moment” was not what he had in mind. Three games in, the boos came early. But he showed he gets what he signed up for by calling them late. His first three games with the Mets were rough. His response was refreshing: nytimes.com/athletic/71565…
