@real_eire @thejournal_ie Sure isn't that why it's "comments closed " on the app. Always too afraid to give a right of reply to their fantasy hit pieces.

At the height of last week's fuel price protests, a GoFundMe page was set up to by food and hot drinks for those who had brought parts of the country to a standstill. A week later the page has raised €150,000 - but what's going to happen to the money? jrnl.ie/7013354t

@ogormanpeter You could only IMAGINE what grubby little deals MM did to stay in power so he can stay on until July and act all Billy Big Balls for his boss Ursula when she visits her minions. #tonightvmtv

Right, it's no longer a question. There is a definite pattern of the callers that are arguing against the #fuelprotest All sounding like retired boomer FFG party members. Strange that.....🤔Probably on RTE speed dial. #liveline

Strangely, most of the callers this week that don't support the protests seem to have the plummy Anglo Irish posh accents. Almost as is they are all FG party members that will blindly follow party edict and eat any kind of hardship that the government dish out. #liveline

@marti51327 @kevintoconnor @SnDMediaNews You can hardly say he represents a large area as he got only around 7% first preference votes. He didn't even reach the quota for election that last time out missing it by over 1200 votes and was only elected as last man standing.

Tensions Flare at Dublin Fuel Protest as PBP TD Paul Murphy is Chased Away Frustration boiled over on O’Connell Bridge around 3pm today during nationwide fuel price protests, as People Before Profit TD Paul Murphy was chased away by sections of the crowd. Video from SnDmedia shows Murphy surrounded by angry protesters amid the chaos, with palpable anger directed at the left-wing politician despite shared cost-of-living concerns. The demonstrations, involving convoys of tractors and lorries, have disrupted traffic across Ireland over rising fuel costs linked to global events. Protesters demand government action on excise duties and taxes. The incident highlights raw tensions on the ground as economic pressures mount. No injuries reported. Gardaí are monitoring the ongoing protests.
