Mark Carney is seizing a costly Liberal majority that voters denied him, and doing so through backroom deals. In January, MP Gladu said that floor crossers should face voters in a byelection to give voters the final say. I could not agree more. She should do so. The people in her community voted for our Conservative vision of a Canada that is affordable, safe, and strong at home, not for the costly Liberal government she has now joined. She should honour her word and let voters decide.

Le ministre libéral François-Philippe Champagne affirme s'être récusé du projet de TGV en septembre 2025. Un projet de 90 milliards $ dont sa conjointe est la vice-présidente. Pourtant, il en a fait la promotion lors d'un témoignage au Sénat six mois plus tard. Dans le budget qu'il a lui-même présenté, on ne retrouve aucune trace de sa récusation et il a aussi voté en faveur du TGV à la Chambre des communes. La version du ministre Champagne ne tient pas la route. 90 milliards $ sont en jeu. Vous devez dire la vérité, monsieur le ministre.

Monsieur le premier ministre, il y a jusqu'à 9 milliards $ de trop dans les coffres du gouvernement fédéral en raison de la hausse du prix de l’essence. Cet argent appartient aux Canadiens, pas au gouvernement fédéral. Abolissons toutes les taxes sur l’essence pour permettre aux familles canadiennes d’économiser jusqu’à 1200 $ d’ici la fin de l’année.
