@BradMcElhinny @stevenadamswv @four4thefire Okay. Let’s get serious. Where is the B of E’s omnibus bill to change and repeal laws? Is there one?
English

@stevenadamswv @four4thefire the claim was made by “Strawman”
English

That claim is in quotes. Who made that specific claim? Also, “leaders” ARE wanting lawmakers to modernize the state school aid funding formula. They’re also wanting lawmakers to loosen regs in State Code so the bureaucracy CAN adapt. What are you really disagreeing with?
Cardinal Institute@CardinalWV
Here's the truth ↓ WV’s public education system is hemorrhaging money due to inefficiency, not school choice. Instead of modernizing the funding formula to follow the student, leaders are blaming the very families who are adapting faster than the bureaucracy. Fund students, not systems.

Once again, media outlets are misrepresenting school choice in West Virginia, this time blaming the Hope Scholarship for Kanawha County school closures. Here’s why that’s not just wrong, but deliberately misleading. 🧵
I wrote an op-ed on this very topic last week. 👇
