Back in the very early days of Twitter / X I’d lose followers due to complaining about how bad @northernrail were @AvantiWestCoast have to take the crown now. How do they get away with operating a shambles of a service? Train cancelled on some make believe reason.

Building a video component using @Shopify meta objects via @Replit – got Rick Rolled by Replit in the .MD file of example URLs to use. 😀

Been using @Replit for product ideas and prototyping, but combining it with @ShopifyDevs Hydrogen has blown me away. Rebuilt a full Shopify site from the ground up that's cleaner, faster, and properly tuned for conversion. This beats Theme development hands down.

@lovable @branmcconnell Thanks – is this something you'll introduce? Or would it mean starting over with a new store?

Introducing the Lovable Shopify integration. Today, we're making it possible to build online stores by chatting with AI. To show how it works, we built and launched our first merch store:

More @AvantiWestCoast chaos. Manchester bound train sat at platform 5 for 40 mins with zero announcements… then suddenly moved to 15. Staff don’t know where drivers are meant to be. Absolute shambles. Make Northern Rail look like an organised outfit.

Typical @AvantiWestCoast — Baltic conditions in the carriages when it’s minus 10 outside. Today a light warm air exits the aircon. Everyone melting. Baffles me how they got the franchise.

Prompt: [High top angle wide mid close up tracking shot, flying very fast two meters high over the grass, dominated by a real young boy (pink t-shirt, pink shorts, whit shoes, white long socks), with his back to the camera, body stretched out, gliding smoothly forward, flying in the air, casting a clear shadow on the ground. His legs and body are high above the level of the ground, his feet is not touching the ground, he is flying in the Superman pose. The background is a vast lush green valley with dense grass and dark green forest, and in the distance rolling mountains with a winding path. Large fluffy white clouds float in the vibrant blue sky. Strong dynamic motion blur creates a strong sense of speedy flight and perspective depth. Realistic image --raw]

@DorkSirjur @HendrikRiessen I can do that for you. There’s some tapes from Angels (Burnley), Zone (Blackpool), some various DJs, and a lot from Legends (Warrington) if you didn’t already have them.

Gonna begin today going back 36 years with a rare set: This is Colin Dale @ Rage: Heaven On Earth 1989 Rage sets are silly rare (I only have three). This is technically a reupload, but its been re-encoded, as per, for better quality. Legendary set. Reminder that all mixes uploaded here today go on my Kofi for download tonight. 👇🔥👇

@mark_webster @HendrikRiessen Nothing will top a set I posted labelled 1984ish and turns out it was 1989. Good old mislabelling 😂

@DorkSirjur @HendrikRiessen I think it's probably 1991. Mental Cube – Q released in 91, however, it could have been doing the rounds earlier on promo.

@HendrikRiessen I'd not call this jungle in the slightest tbh. It may be 1990 however, not much info online.

And now a bit of men's fashion history: my favourite post-scally "UK paninaro" brands of 1986-89 – in adverts/publicity. Paired with greased back hair, "goggle" sunglasses and Kourous/ YSL Jazz after-shave. No 1: Stone Island

In 1988, I met a girl from Oxford called Kerry on a ferry(!) to France. She invited me to Headington, where I witnessed local lads in C17 jeans and Chipie sweats with bad English on the front. I was smitten by her looks – and their clothes.

If you loved "The City is Ours" then you're going to love its predecessor, "Shooters". Forget real actors, the Scouse lads here create drama, tension, tragedy and rage – on the go, with no formal training. It's phenomenal. youtube.com/watch?v=lOUdkM…
