@caniacally We've had 3 of the best GMs in the NHL over the last 30 years with Rutherford, Waddell and Tulsky. We've had three of the best coaches over that time as well.

Mind you the Carolina Hurricanes have never had the 1st over all draft pick even in our 9 or 10 year span of missing the playoffs.

Only time @canes have played a Canadian Team in First Round of @StanleyCup Playoffs, Canes eventually won The Cup. Ottawa is a super Team just as Montreal was in 2006 First Round. Will be a great challenge right out of the gate, and Hurricanes will be up it.
