I respect the profession, but £32,244 and using a foodbank? Never heard such a ridiculous thing in my life. I earned a lot less than that for most of my teaching career and so do many of my constituents. If true, which is unlikely, I suggest learning how to budget and prioritise.

I'm putting together a "student corner" in my office with stationary, pens and paper, menstrual products, and water. I can't keep food in the building bc of mice. What else should I add to the collection? I want to make sure students feel safe stopping by, even if just for a pen.
