What a result for Jersey last night! Thank you very much to St. Clement parishioners and to all those who have supported me I'm so grateful that so many have put their trust in me and I'm looking forward to representing all parishioners in an assembly that feels ready for change!

The electorate of Jersey has spoken! I do not regret having a go. I learned a great deal about current issues in Jersey and would have liked to play my part in tackling them. But it was not to be. Best wishes to those elected and thanks to everyone who stood.

The loss of the island-wide mandate has not gone down well. The Jersey Alliance is committed to a review of the arrangements with a comprehensive consultation. It should be for the people of Jersey to decide the electoral system, not just the members of the States Assembly.

This was useful. Relationship between Government and charities is difficult. However dysfunctional machinery of government with no clear accountability has not helped. Needs strong government to sort. Top class charity leaders deserve better. #jerseyalliance #charities

This is not only great news for rugby supporters but also for the Island. Visiting rugby teams bring many supporters with them who spend money in the Island therefore contributing to income and tax revenue. There is scope for Jersey to expand sports tourism considerable.
