I fully understand! We also face up to the challenges brought about by such cultural differences. Currently, the degree of recognition that Web3 games(good ones) have received in the Western world is actually much lower than that in the Eastern world. Many users will directly give negative comments just because a game has NFTs or a Web3 concept. I mentioned in an X post a long time ago that making a game is all about trade-offs. If this game had no Web3 elements at all, many designs would be adjusted, and it would be much more user-friendly to all the users. We should be able to attract more users and definitely achieve higher revenue already. I believe it might have already exceeded $10 million, instead of just $2.4 million. However, our aspiration is not just to create a simple Web3 MMORPG. What we are doing, and I believe it is way more importantly, we are verifying the positive impacts and changes that might be brought about when Web3 technologies and tools are integrated into the virtual economy within an MMORPG, and exploring whether this virtual economy can become faster, more prosperous, and more powerful. Therefore, in this choice, I prioritized the design of the economic system rather than just focusing on the game itself. For users who spend $20 on fuel every week to fly the most powerful and impressive ship, compared to those who only spend $2 per week, apart from the dopamine hit of having the best and most powerful gear, what's more important is that they have the CHOICE of earning more than $20 from this ecosystem and the virtual economy, every week for many years.
