If you've nailed the final answer on his mental bandwidth at 23 with not even 10 full games played, KO just became the state's second-best QB savant. I think I'll wait a tad bit longer before flushing a 10th overall pick.

@markcraignfl It seems he has several fundamental problems such that he can’t sufficiently mitigate all or most of them at the same time. For example, his mechanics suck, but if he focused on improved mechanics he doesn’t have the mental bandwidth for other key aspects of quarterbacking.

The Rams can attest that Sam carried a pretty big bucket in the NFC title game. Seattle was a good team, no question. But quarterbacks don't just get carried to Super Bowl-winning seasons. Whether it's helping win games, helping avoid losses, being durable.

@markcraignfl After all the dragging they’ve taken for letting Darnold leave, my pessimistic prediction is that they’ll overpay to keep him out of fear of backlash, and then they’ll be back to having a 2nd tier QB on a big $ contract.
