@CaptainJackYT @TheTrekCentral Something I’ve seen a lot is the wirstvthing about being a Star Trej fan is the fandom. If you’re dancing on the grave of the franchise then you’re not a fan.

Covering #StarfleetAcademy for @TheTrekCentral has shown us a massive display of vitriol / hated / homophobia, that it’s extremely hard to read replies to things now and actually engage with the audience. Sure, criticism is good… but this isn’t good. Not very #StarTrek

@browser_things @apm0788 Prodigy, Lower Decks and Acadeny were all set after Votager with a new ship, crew etc. Arguably PRO & LD leaned more to nostalgia but academy was exactly what you outlined.

@apm0788 Stop doing prequels where story is constrained.. stop doing limtied nostalgia series..Do a main Star Trek Enterprise series set post voyager.. Then you can have eg Academy or Lower Decks or Prodigy around the main thing.. The thing thats missing is the centre

With Starfleet Academy ending after its upcoming second season, we’re about to enter the first stretch in a decade with no new Star Trek in active production. Nothing is more dangerous to fandom than fandom itself. BUT if it didn’t get the numbers, we have to accept that.

The #StarfleetAcademy haters are absolutely crowing about the series ending and congratulations you’ve likely made Paramount that risk adverse with regards to #StarTrek that that’s probably it for the tv show coz if you’re just gonna whinge about everything new why bother.

@acoolerclimate5 @RyanAlbert2026 It’s refreshing I suppose you acknowledge that sexuality is a spectrum. But what it also is specific to a persons outlook not what you perceive them as. A gay man can be attracted to both c!s and trans men and still see themselves as gay and not bi poly pan andro etc

@markd_85 @RyanAlbert2026 What is the point of having words like Bisexual, androsexual and pansexual, if homosexual means the same thing as these three? Isn't the point of these words to actually define things? If Homosexual means the same thing, it isn't defining anything.

@RyanAlbert2026 So many bad things about this show, but one thing I hated was that only gay men who said they were open to dating a trans man were allowed on the show. So here is a show for gay men, and most of us couldn't even get on it because we are homosexual, only attracted to our own SEX.
