My signed copy of Marquee Moon. One of the greatest albums to me. Released on this day 1977. I was lucky enough to meet all four members in Manchester. I wish I’d taken Adventure as well but I’m very happy with this. Very special to me 📺

Buddy Holly was 22 yrs old when he died 3rd Feb 1959. Imagine being so young and producing a catalogue of songs that influenced Dylan and the Beatles.. songs which still hold up today. I had this greatest hits cassette on repeat as a 7 year old in ‘77. Bought it in a jumble sale

Later that night, he’ll be lurking in the dark, waiting to scare the life out of us as we all head back to the house on the hill for cocoa and Space Oddity in his attic room. Someone give me a time machine — I’d go back to those days in a heartbeat..
