@gocharting How to get the Static IP for trading from scalper. No response from any team members on so many requests on chat box.Kindly update the users.

@gocharting @raju_teju31272 By reserving a free static ip from cloud platform i can easily use it for any network my mobile network or Wifi. Even i am using that static ip on my mobile internet

SEBI NEW CIRCULAR ON ALGO’s 1.API Access & Static-IP Requirement • Retail clients using APIs for algorithmic trading must register a static IP address with their broker, with the option for one backup IP . • Multiple API keys are allowed, but only one can be used for unregistered algos; all others must be used with registered algos . 2.Order-Per-Second (OPS) Threshold • Retail algos are capped at 10 orders per second per exchange segment; brokers must enforce this limit, and exchanges may adjust it with notice . 3.Algo Registration & Tagging • Retail clients must tag algos with unique IDs (Exchange-issued) for both registered and unregistered algos . • Unregistered algos need a generic ID and can’t exceed the OPS limit . 4.Session Security & Monitoring • All API sessions must be terminated at the end of each trading day . • Brokers are required to monitor session usage, block breaches, and prevent excessive or unauthorized activity . 5. Broker & Algo Provider Responsibilities • Third-party algo providers must be exchange-empanelled. Brokers must conduct due diligence, maintain audit logs, ensure cybersecurity, and manage infrastructure agreements . 6.Risk Management & Security Standards • Brokers must enforce robust risk protocols, including Two-Factor Authentication (2FA), password expiry cycles, hosting on exchange-approved servers, and retaining audit trails for at least 5 years . 7.Exclusions & Penalties • These standards are not applicable to institutional users using DMA. • Exchanges reserve the right to deactivate non-compliant algos to maintain market stability

Hi @DhanCares, I am using Dhan API for algo trading and I currently use mobile hotspot internet. Since order APIs require a static IP, could you please guide me on how I can generate or obtain a static IP to whitelist for DhanHQ API?.

Hey @reliancejio , I use Jio fiber at home. As per @SEBI_India recent rules, I need a static IP for trading .Unfortunately, @reliancejio does not provide static IP. Looks like I have to stop using jio fiber and switch to either BSNL or Airtel. @JioCare
