"For as long as I am president of @CAF_Online, whether I know of or I am not aware of problems or deficiencies or shortcomings, I have to account [for them]. The buck stops with me.” - Patrice Motsepe, in Cairo on Sunday. What do you make of this statement, #Africa?

🔴 JUST IN🔴 The Correctional Services has issued an emotional outburst for the diligent work done by an inmate who has exposed the alleged involvement of Gayton McKenzie in illegal activities in jail! Prison bosses are angry at eNCA for interviewing a whistleblower They would have preferred that the truth remains buried. They are going to punish the whistleblower, instead of embracing and protecting him so that more whistleblowers can come out Sies maan! 🚮

How does it work that an individual found guilty of #gross_misconduct was terminated as Minister, only to take a four-month 'rest' before resurfacing as Deputy Chief Whip with a salary of nearly R2 million?🤔 How can someone guilty of misconduct be entrusted with lawmaking responsibilities? @MbalulaFikile please, do you have any idea? We could be missing crucial information here. #Parliament #Accountability

ANOTHER CAUGHT ON THE SCENE STORY WHICH DISAPPEARED LIKE A FART - NSFAS FUNDS CORRUPTION The trio - Andile Nongogo, Ernest Khosa & Blade Nzimande were caught with their hands in the Cookie Jar but yet again #CyrilRamaphosa let them go FOR FREE !! 🔺️Andile Nongogo ( CEO NSFAS ) was fired in 2023, Zero (0) Punishment, not arrest & no assets forfeiture & he is amongst the ANC made Billionaires still continuing to collect his kick-backs from their hired contractors whom on every bed per accomodation in South Africa as a whole they get between R150 - R300 per bed. So say for example they have contracted 1million students in this scam, the motherfuqkers makes between R150million to R350million per month STILL continuing to split their profits monthly. 🔺️Ernest Khosa ( Board Chairperson NSFAS ) resigned in 2024 after seeing that the inquest is not stopping therefore meaning that he might end up losing everything he has collected in wealth throughout his corrupt life & to date he is also a partaker still on the well-set up long term contracts of up to 20yrs. Rumours says that Blade Nzimande told him to resign in order for him to be safe & he was promised life long protection by the ANC Affiliated Comrade. 🔺️Blade Nzimande ( then Minister of Higher Education) is the biggest Chief Money making corrupt thief on top of them all, in every BIG Student accomodation which takes up 300 students to the highest number you can think of are captured by this trio with billions & billions which only R47Billion was what they were caught on. Once again, Cyril Ramaphosa came to the rescue - NONE OF THEM ARE ARRESTED, walking scott free, continuing with their billionaire lives with no further investigations done by @RSASIU #Hawks @RSA_IPID @NPA_Prosecutes - this is how easy Politicians walk away with stolen Tax Payers' Monies !! And Blade Nzimande was swiftly shifted to Minister of Science, Technology & Innovation just like that by the very same Cyril Ramaphosa ( President of South Africa ) @INTERPOL_HQ @FBI @iclgi_network South Africa really needs your help 🥹🥹

We must never forget her 💔🕊️ Uyinene Mrwetyana was a 19-year-old first-year student at the University of Cape Town, studying Film and Media. She went to the Clareinch Post Office to collect a parcel after being asked by an employee to return later that day. That was the last time she was seen. Instead of assisting her, the employee, Luyanda Botha, lured her into a restricted area where he brutally raped and murdered her. He then attempted to conceal and destroy evidence of the crime. Her disappearance triggered a week-long search involving her family, friends, students, and the broader public, with widespread social media appeals under hashtags such as #FindUyinene. The discovery of her body and the details surrounding her death shocked the nation and reignited urgent conversations about the crisis of gender-based violence and femicide in South Africa. Mass protests followed across the country, with citizens demanding accountability and systemic change, chanting slogans such as “Am I next?” and “Enough is enough.” Women, in particular, shared their lived experiences, highlighting the daily risks they face and calling for stronger action from law enforcement, government, and society at large. Luyanda Botha was subsequently arrested, confessed in court, and received multiple life sentences for his crimes, along with additional penalties for attempting to obstruct justice. The case drew widespread national and international attention and remains a painful reminder of the urgent need to address gender-based violence.

A 71-year-old woman and a 77-year-old man were murdered on a farm in Glen Loerie, The Crags, in what appears to have been a violent attack. According to reports, the incident came to light on Wednesday, 25 March 2026, at about 18:50, when a Mercedes-Benz was picked up by a licence plate recognition camera speeding along the R339 towards Uniondale. The vehicle was then flagged on a local security WhatsApp group, which prompted police to move quickly. When officers went to the address linked to the vehicle, they discovered the bodies of the elderly couple. Both had sustained multiple injuries. Police, together with community safety structures, then worked to trace the vehicle. It later overturned near Uniondale, and the driver allegedly tried to flee on foot before being caught shortly afterwards. A 34-year-old suspect from The Crags has since been arrested and is being held in Uniondale. He is expected to appear in court once charges are finalised, while the motive for the killings remains under investigation. This case is another reminder of how important rapid coordination is between residents, private security networks, technology and SAPS on the ground. The use of licence plate recognition technology, quick information-sharing and follow-up action helped move this case forward fast. That matters, especially in rural and farming areas where response times and access to support can be more difficult. But arrests are only the first step. There now needs to be a thorough investigation, proper evidence handling, clear communication with the family and community, and a prosecution process that is not delayed or weakened. Rural communities need to know that when violent crimes happen, the system will respond with urgency and competence. My thoughts are with the loved ones of the victims and with the wider Plettenberg Bay and Crags community. Anyone with further information is urged to contact Crime Stop on 08600 10111 or use the MySAPS App. IC

For years, there have been growing concerns about the conduct of VIP protection officers particularly those assigned to certain high-ranking politicians. Allegations of reckless driving, intimidation and excessive force have surfaced repeatedly, often brushed aside or quietly dealt with, with little visible accountability. Then came the incident that forced the country to pay attention. #BlueLightMafia On that day, members of Paul Mashatile’s protection detail were captured on video violently assaulting civilians on the side of the road. The footage spread rapidly not because South Africans were shocked that it happened, but because it was finally undeniable. What many had experienced or warned about was now in plain sight. The video showed a group of heavily armed officers dragging individuals from a vehicle and assaulting them. There was no immediate threat visible that could justify such force. Instead, what the public saw looked like punishment not policing. Fast forward to TODAY and the matter is currently before the court. One of the accused has taken the stand. When shown the now widely circulated video, he claimed that he did not see anyone being kicked only “legs moving.” South Africans have seen this video. The question is simple: you be the judge, what does you see? The explanations did not end there. It was further stated that the civilian failed to follow instructions. Yet,when pressed on whether they intended to “teach him a lesson,” the responses shifted, with multiple versions and inconsistencies emerging. The accused repeatedly leaned on the argument that “not everything is shown in the video,” raising more questions than answers. The matter returns to court from 27 July to 30 July. When those at the highest levels are accused of acting above the law, it sends a dangerous message down the chain. The allegations surrounding Paul Mashatile and claims of lawlessness only deepen the concern: that power in South Africa is too often mistaken for permission. If we are serious about restoring trust, accountability cannot be selective. It must apply equally whether you are a VIP protection officer or a senior political figure. Justice must not only be done. It must be seen to be done. The @Our_DA will continue the fight for justice against the #BlueLightMafia (Video credit: @ActionSocietySA)
