@golfcourses101 @teetimesusa Pine Valley’s 8th and 9th holes each have alternate greens. They are not used simultaneously but the design philosophy is the same.

What does everyone think of this unusual design feature?

How awesome you can play the course two days in a row and get to try each green?

Speaker Mike Johnson lives in a $3,000-a-month home. He donates his $224,000 salary to those in need, gave up a $250,000 bonus to help flood victims, and takes only a $10,000 annual allowance — the rest goes to veteran housing assistance.
He’s paid over $500,000 in rent for 70 homeless veterans, cut his office budget by $1 million, flies economy, and stays in budget hotels — then donates the $80,000 he saves to local food banks.
His wife turned their garage into a free cancer therapy center, and on holidays, their family volunteers at shelters while their kids travel to disaster zones to help with relief efforts.
But sure — tell me more about how conservative leadership doesn’t truly look out for those in need.

Not many people can run a $2.4 trillion company and he’s making less than countless pro athletes. Stop worrying about how much others make and look at what they produce and contribute to society. This narrow-minded thinking holds us back.

Amazon’s CEO makes at least $40.1 MILLION a year while the average Amazon worker makes less than $38k a year How is that pro-worker or pro-American? It’s time to put American workers FIRST

@VOL_Chad Honors/Lookout. Look for Lookout to crack the top 100 in the next published rankings.
English

Great question
Where would you pick in TN? Let’s say you only have about an hour to get from one course to the next.
Holston - TN National
Honors - Chattanooga
Black Creek - Lookout
Golf Club of TN
Troubadour- The Grove
Memphis CC - Spring Creek

It’s March 6th, so we’ve got 3-6 on our minds. If you could play any 36 holes in Massachusetts, where are you teeing it up? Let's see your answers👇
English

@PlayMassGolf I’ve had a few very good 36 hole days in Mass.
1. Essex County Club/Myopia Hunt
2. The Country Club/Old Sandwich
3. Wannamoisett (I know it’s in RI)/ Dedham
4. Brae Burn/Worcester
But my favorite in Mass is Eastward Ho!

@bigfiyah1981 @KaJedBuffalo Probably Cal Club. Blew me away and I was’t expecting it to be that good. Valley Club of Montecito and Bel Alr (not a top 100 unbelievably) are 2 more West Coast courses which surprised me. Whispering Pines in TX is an under the radar masterpiece. Rock Creek Cattle is 🔥

@KaJedBuffalo @markgreerod Mark: what was the biggest sleeper?
English

@SHistorians @markgreerod @bigfiyah1981 I’m the biggest MacRaynor nerd in the world. fishers and NGLA are #2/3 behind Cypress. I genuinely might be more excited about playing the Creek on Monday than Winged Foot West in August
English

@putt4dough24 @bigfiyah1981 I would play Pine Valley every day. Loved playing there! But it’s very difficult and is unrelenting. I’d rather play Cypress everyday. It’s got great variety too and is challenging enough but not a brute. And it’s the most beautiful spot for a golf course I’ve ever seen.
English

@markgreerod @bigfiyah1981 Fair - altho why wouldn’t you want to play the one with “the best combination of quality holes and land with good variety and a challenge” every day?
English

@putt4dough24 @bigfiyah1981 To me, best means a combination of quality of the holes and land with good variety and a challenge. Favorite is the course I’d want most to play every day if I could.
English

@markgreerod @bigfiyah1981 How do you differentiate between “best” and “favorite”
