@bemil @VT4L_Joe He did not get lucky in those matches. He got lucky he didn’t wrestle veterans on that backside is all I was saying. Two sophomores in their first ncaa tournament and a freshman. The kid is a good wrestler don’t get me wrong but when he wrestled a veteran like Lamer he lost.

@brallen22 @VT4L_Joe Didn’t mean lucky as he did not deserve to win, i misspoke there. I think he got lucky with the draw and not having to wrestle many battle tested veteran guys on the backside. No doubt those kids like Joy and Wasilewski are talented, but not tested on those backside grinds.

@markhumphrey092 @VT4L_Joe He legit was the opposite of lucky and had to wrestle Lamer twice, the only guy who seemed to have anything for him in this tournament. Gaj beat the 2 and 3 seeds in wrestlebacks, it was unfortunate he didn’t get to wrestle for third!
