@5150Farms That’s a little closer to the house than I’d like, but I’ve been there, we farm around a lot of these high power lines. Just another challenge in the field. Never take their first offer. They can eminent domain if they can prove it’s a public necessity. But it’s a last resort

This ole girl needs a complete rebuild over winter. It’s the equivalent of a Case 500t. Any recommendations on aftermarket parts that would make it operate better? No complaints from the stock parts but it needs opening blades, boots, gauge wheels, and some closing wheels. So if there’s nicer aftermarket things we can do it, I suppose now would be the time

What I really want to see is knife vs coulter #striptill fall and spring. Fertility wise I prefer spring. But work flow I feel like we can prioritize fall vs spring and make some things happen!

Got wind of a commercial elevator being built in KY using gov funds bc KY farmers “need more markets.” Might be the dumbest thing I’ve heard in a minute. If you wanna use taxpayer $ to build storage do it on the farm. KY has no shortage of grain markets.

@TheGrainiac I try not to call anyone business related after 6ish. However I have been known to send a text with something on my mind later in the evening. I’ll also lead with “no response needed till morning” texts are “here’s my question answer when you can” but calls are I need answer now

Don’t get upset when someone emails you late. Turn off your notifications and get to it in the morning. Phone calls though, now that’s some bullshit.
