Super scummy @AmericanAir: Flight AA 2509 delayed today first for mechanical, then for ATC mismanagement, then cancelled due to weather? There were no weather issues-your crew ran out of hours and you did not want to pay. I have receipts…

@markkjones @AmericanAir If a plane has a mechanical issue, I would prefer that they fix it rather than try to fly a broken plane, and weather issues that can affect your flight extend beyond what you can see from the airport. They’re trying to be safe. Roll with it.

@oglxnd @AmericanAir Not upset that the flight was cancelled. Am upset that the fight was delayed originally for other reasons other than weather and then @AmericanAir just blankets it with a weather code to CYA. If the flight was not delayed due to mechanical, then it beats the weather into DFW.

@markkjones @AmericanAir Another idiot that complains because his poor planning is worth more the other people’s lives. Delays and cancellations for maintenance and weather save lives. It’s the reason that flying is so safe today, you’re just ignorant.

@AmericanAir And while we are at it, why don’t you tell the people your overall OTP for this flight over the last week, because it is abysmal.
