-Rory probably didn’t mean South African golf sucks.
-South African golfers and fans can be pissed at how dismissive he was of what has proven to be a monumental event in a prideful golf nation.

All got a bit silly this. Rory was stating that Rahm would not be choosing to play the SA event if it was not for his LIV contract.
Find it hard to believe that he meant it as a dig at SA golf.

@MattVincenziPGA @joshwlees The levels of paranoia against Rory are getting a bit silly - a more balanced approach of, both Tours can compete alongside side each other, might be a better take - particularly as much bigger global issues right now!

@_chris_ando_ Think he could click soon, he’s having 1 or 2 v.good rounds each week, shot 64 on Sunday. Young, loads of potential, long off Tee. Similar demographic to a lot of the players I back, with good EW value. I look for recent flashes of form/big prices. 14th here last year

@markledsham Genuine question - why are you so hung up on this guy? His highest position this season is 37th, he hits slightly over 50% of fairways(!) 70% GIR, he's statistically one of the worst on LIV tour at scrambling, and one of the worst at putting.... I really dont get it.
