Ciarán Hinds earned an Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actor for Belfast & I’m glad he did- he earned this nomination. Hinds makes everything he touches better. He’s just an all-time great actor in my book who I adore. He’s also great in the new film Is This Thing On?

It is simply unbelievable that this is happening day after day - while at the same time Western countries scurry to protect Israel from the consequences of its aggression against Iran.

They cannot win major wars either: from Iraq to Ukraine, all they do is lose and make their corporate and Zionist owners richer, and Westerners more miserable. They murdered and injured 50,000 children in Gaza. That's their collective achievement and identity. So when they try, in a million duplicitous ways, to tell us how evil and defeated Iran or Hezbollah is, we need to not forget who they are and what they do, and how much humanity needs them effed up beyond repair.
