My best friend died during the earthquake on 11 March 2011… I remember those days again… a day I will never forget. Hey mate. It’s the 11th of March again. Fifteen years ago, everything changed. And yet, sometimes it still feels like yesterday. I still catch myself thinking about the old days. The laughter, the stupid conversations, the endless debates about football. Back then we thought we had all the time in the world. Life kept moving forward. I’ve gotten older now. My body aches more than it used to… time does that to you. But some things never change. I’m still mad about football. Still shouting at the TV like an idiot. Still caring far too much about results. Your beloved Everton… you’d be proud. They’re 8th in the Premier League right now. Absolutely brilliant💙 Moyes is back and doing an incredible job. And my beloved Argyle? We won today. 3–0. A brilliant win. We’re sitting 10th in League One at the moment, and things are going well. I’m just hoping we can push into the play-off places. Sometimes I imagine what it would be like if you were still here. Talking nonsense about football, laughing about nothing, just like before. I wish we could sit down again, just once. Talk for hours like we used to. But I guess some conversations now only happen in my memories. I miss you, mate. And if there’s football wherever you are… I hope you’re watching. Because I’m still here. Still talking to you. Just like always.🫶
