But it’s a great memory with friends and the stupid days are a part of life and often the most remembered. Do not be scared of a links golf trip based on the crazy weather videos. Notes from Sunday at Bethpage 1⃣ As Justin Rose whispered to his caddie shortly after finishing his match, it was “squeaky bum time”. And it lasted a long, long time. What a day. 2⃣ The singles vibes on the course is funny. Players act and seem exhausted. Likely they are but also due to not having a partner to spark off. Every European Player that played five matches lost their singles match today. It showed. 3⃣ The heckling was noticeably tamer today. Seemed like a lot more Europeans out there (and louder ones) likely through second hand tickets sales. 4⃣ Luke Donald, along with Dodo Molinari, are undeniable. Books will be written about what they’ve done the last four years. A captaincy built on a 1,000 small decisions, not one or two big ones. 5⃣ Justin Rose should 100% be the captain for 2027, but I don’t think he will be. The process starts soon and he’ll be asked this year. I think he’s played too well. He’ll be 47 at Adare, it’s unlikely he’ll make the team but if he’s close, he’s more than shown what he can do. Remarkable this week. 6⃣ This was my fifth Ryder Cup. Worked behind the scenes at four and did Rome as a fan. Don’t ever wanna miss one. Such a privilege to see it up close. 7⃣ The Ryder Cup is the best. Tension, fans, teams, tactics, tons of passion and (relatively) no money chat. The best of sport.

Bethpage 📝 - rough is hardly a factor off the f’ways - driver off every tee except for the 2nd hole - longer players won’t have an issue with many of the f’way bunkers - rough slightly up around the greens but still very doable - greens are very pure and quick above the hole

Agree, but this data is still potentially flawed. 1. shows # of defendants, not convictions/total offenders 2. denominator should reflect population at risk of offending, not everyone (10+?) 3. Reporting rates? 4. Aggregation in ethnic groups could obscure over representation
