I believe he flew first cat class, but they landed and because of traffic it was a 2 Hour Dr. to Baltimore… Yes, I do believe him
Pan Dulce@dulcepan1970

@markschlereth You think Crosby was truthful in his assessment of the raven fiasco?? They flew him coach and had him drive 2 hrs to get to the facility with the coach and gm not meeting him upon arrival?

I could see myself coaching a year or two from now… The teams pick you it’s not the other way around.
AL_BONDIGAS@OAMARTIN3Z

@markschlereth Will we ever see you coaching on an NFL team? If yes which team would you be your pick?

I played defense in college… 1. get off the ball… 2. first strike wins… 3. Effort and violence.

It is relevant and mostly on the medicals… you can get a good sense of somebody’s movement skills and how they are put together 40 times in benchpress tests are way overrated
Gail Royce@MentalEdgeCoach

@markschlereth Is the Combine really relevant/meaningful or just another NFL show? Do pro-day performances make a difference for an athlete?

As positioning coaches are concerned, I think OL is the most important… Look at Benton from bust to one year phenom back to being unemployed. Coaching matters.
JonesBones@JonesBo48877381

@markschlereth Thoughts on the Eagles moving on from Jeff Stoutland? Do you think having a good O-Line coach is just as, if not more, important than having a good OC?

It would take a coach in a team that’s committed to it, and you would have to have tight ends in fullbacks and wide receivers that are willing to block.
Fetti, Interrupted 🐂🛸🤙@Fettaious

@markschlereth What would it take to get the zone running game Shannahan had where it was a seemingly plug-n-play any RB back there and ball out? Or has the game evolved in a way that a team just can’t do that anymore?

He has elite level speed and also quickness most people don’t realize it because he was lined up across from Tyreek Hill. Who’s not from this planet.
Brett Johnson@BrettCJohnson

@markschlereth Just to give us a better sense, when you’ve prepped for games, how does Waddle’s speed compare to other receivers in the league? Is he just way faster than Mims, Franklin, etc. and closer to maybe somebody like Rashid Shaheed?

He can also potentially open up the run game on that side because you know you’re not getting run support from that safety who often times has to play over the top. It’s a numbers game.
WYCowboy@BillCubin

@markschlereth How does Jaylen Waddle make more opportunities in offense for Sutton, Franklin, Bryant, Mimms and even Dobbins and RJ Harvey?

His speed creates an issue for defenses. You need to rotate coverage to him meaning you’re gonna find someone one on ones whether it’s Cortland or somebody in the slot.

Ric was my special team’s coach in Denver and he was tutored by Alex Gibbs so he really understands the run game. It really comes down to creating leverage through technique and everybody being on the exact same page.
Raider G@RaiderG31126

You played in the original “Shanahan” outside zone offense. Klint Kubiak is bringing his version to the Raiders. They have some holes on the o-line. What traits do you think they’re looking for in linemen to run that offense? And can you give us any insight on OL Coach Rick Dennison?

I agree to appoint teams are willing to give up the run game by playing small.
Supero@realsupero

@markschlereth I have a theory that football is going to go back to primarily running the ball. With the proliferation of the spread, defensive backs and even some linebackers do not want to tackle. Why doesn’t some team just line up in I formation and pound the rock all day?
