@RayeCharles Hey Rach. Probably a long consult but that fee is ridiculously unreasonable regardless of how much the Medicare rebate is. Like you I would have offered to pay her bill - even just the excess over the rebate. She could refuse the offer if she felt she could have covered it. Sad.

Visited my GP today. Whilst waiting to be called there was a lady at reception asking if she can pay her bill at a later date? Her usual GP couldn’t see her and he normally bulk bills her but today she had to see a new GP and the cost was $180 😞 that poor woman was so embarrassed and humiliated. It was heartbreaking to witness. Since when does a GP cost $180?

I endured a lot yesterday. But having my body and outfit photoshopped by a media outlet was not on my bingo card. Note the enlarged boobs and outfit to be made more revealing. Can’t imagine this happening to a male MP. What gives?
