The fact that Counting Crows came out with August and Everything After in 1993, during the height of the grunge era, makes it all the more impressive. Totally unique vibe and sound for that time, and still resonated with the youth. Plus there's not a bad song on the whole album.
New date added! We're blown away (and a little frightened) by the response to our gig at @stlukesglasgow with M. John Henry so we've added another night: Friday 2nd April 2027

Can someone please recommend a tv series that's actually addictive, the kind that makes people stay up all night and finish season one in a sitting???????
My Top 50 Albums Of The 90s
#1 🏆🥇
U2: Achtung Baby (1991)
One of the most beautiful albums ever recorded. End of story. Period. No debate (well, I'll welcome debate).
What do you think of my top pick? 🤔
What's a song by a band you love that should have become a hit but wasn't?
I'll start: Standing Alone by Tyketto or This Maniac's In Love With You by Alice Cooper...to name a few.
According to my searches,
Metallica has recorded 188 original songs.
The Beatles have also recorded 188 original songs.
The Beatles were together for 8 years. Metallica? 40+ years.
