@WISE16 I'm beginning to think TfL is closing it to regulate traffic in the tunnel. Last week I was stuck on the roundabout for ten minutes until the barriers were raised. No sign of any emergency or maintenance vehicles. And long queues in Jamaica and Lower Roads.

Is there a way to know how many times the Rotherhithe tunnel has been closed over the last few moths? It seems to be happening quite frequently
Our Rotherhithe@WorgInfo

#Rotherhithe Tunnel is closed, or at least it was 10 minutes ago…

@swspurs @JacoCats One thing that worries me about him is the look on his face - despair - when things are not going well in a game. Suggests he lacks the mental strength to help turn things around; but could say that about most of the team at the moment.

@JacoCats Nonsense tbh. A 22 year old settling into a new country improving but still looking for consistency. Be a major European player for the next decade. Bale, Modric, Son were very similar and in Bale and Son's case worse

ON XAVI SIMONS: After few months I think it's fair to reflect on this signings. There are many problems that I have with him at the moment: 1. Too much hype before joining, that didn't help at all the settling of a very young player. He came here already with the "aura" of a superstar, where in reality he's not even close to that level, and I don't think he will ever be. 2. Heavily struggling to adapt. Since the start of the season there no signs of improvement in the PL, especially in terms of rythm and physicality. Too easy to disposses, too slow in the decision making. It feels like the game at times moves too quickly. 3. Very confident based player. If things go well he tend to get fired and his performances follows his mental state. But if he's struggling (and it's the case in the PL) he seem to go on a downward spiral that makes him more and more chaotic and erratic on the ball. 4. Was absolutely misprofiled from the start, he came here and people thoight we had a creative n10, technically sublime and reliable. In reality he's not that type of player. His passing is inconsistent, the vision and the weight of pass is not high level, even when we involve him around the box and in the pocket of spaces he feels uncomfortable. IS HE A BAD PLAYER? NO. I still believe Xavi will be a very useful player for us in the future. The problem is the role we're giving to him, a role that he's clearly not comfortable with, the creative machine, the one that needs to unlock very difficult situations. He doesn't need to be that player, but more the one at the end of certain passes, the finisher. If he showed something is surely the fact that he's very dangerous in the box and around it when his focus is on shooting and finishing. He also have a very good dribble in progression and he can create his own shot in tight spaces. We will see the best of him in the moment when a good creative midfielder will play near him. Unfortunately we're seeing the worst of him in the PL.

@swspurs From the past handful of games I think it's due to the players not being good enough. Too many poor touches, stray passes, shirking from tackles and not taking opportunities for a pass that would create a chance.

I saw the first London production of Sondheim's Into the Woods in 1990 and have always thought it was one of my best nights at the theatre. Well the new version at Bridge Theatre is even better.

@Buddyboy51 The only Constables I liked were some of the latter ones where he seemed to have picked up elements of Turner's technique, especially in the skies.
