Think this will work? In an attempt to slow the blowing soil along the tree line I put up a snow fence this afternoon. Haven't tried this before. It's pretty dry out here.

@rodgrisier1958 I've noticed. Did they tell participants not to share yield estimates this year?

@speerman42 Barring lots of rain and mud, it will go pretty fast it looks like.

@speerman42 Gotcha. It's starting to turn a little here. Saw a pic of harvest in Oklahoma. Google say it was about 180 miles away. At 20 mile progression per day, we are 9 days out. Upper 80s and low 90s makes me wonder though. It will be here soon!

@markvoth1 Not what you want but I've seen beans wait 30 days for a rain & come up fine

7 day rain chance... Not sure how the trying to emerge #soybeans will do. Planted into fair moisture late april/early may, 1.75 inch deep, no rain since. Up coming week of upper 80s and low 90s will zap what moisture is left quick. Some are up, others trying, not great.

I can remember 1 #wheat harvest starting on Memorial Day. Will this year be a repeat?

@AMillershaski Think il'l take the pic down. Don't want to have it out there without definite diagnosis. Thanks

@markvoth1 Is it frost damage or did something nibble on your stem down below? Insurance adjusters told us they were running into what they thought was frost damage at first but found worm damage upon further investigation.

@MoneoDallas @AMillershaski Not going to argue that either. Driving by other fields, some have it worse than others. It's very random, and its been pretty dry.

@AMillershaski Well, now I wonder. I thought it was frost damage, but ill have to investigate closer. From the road, some fields have it worse than others. Very random.
