@sircryptotips tariff is similar to a consumption tax. So it is better than income tax, or taxing me on my savings and investments. We should reward workers and savers, and spenders/consumption is fine to tax. It encourages people to be productive, to be self sufficient.

The consumer will always bear the cost of a tariff. Its a tax. If you like taxes then tariffs are great news for you. If you don't like higher prices, tariffs are not good news. This is how I would explain tariffs to a 10 year old.
