“Every moment wasted looking back keeps us from moving forward.” The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other peoples' money.

Looks like a 4-4-2 with Dragusin as the right-back and Porro and Xavi as wingers with Kolo Muani and Tel up front. I think we'll see Xavi and Tel swapping places throughout.

Fuck. I’m about to sound like a lefty. But here we go. I believe all of our resources should be nationalised. Not one cent should go into the pockets of CEO and shareholders. It should all go back into a sovereign wealth fund. Public services of all kinds should be nationalised too. Not one inch of Australian land should be owned by a foreign corporation, investment portfolio of any kind and or individual person. We are a resource rich country, farm land as far as the eyes can see and beyond and have a climate that can grow anything you can think of. So why are most ordinary Australians struggling? This land we live on has everything we could possibly need and want, so it must come down to greed, ideological beliefs and damn right incompetence.

@markwillow80 @MickamiousG You understand that the refineries here closed even though there were subsidies, right? While I wouldn't mind a nationalised fuel industry here, I doubt that's going to happen, and if it did, the LNP would just gut it and sell it off the next time they were in power...

The easiest solution would be to rebuilding Australia Heavy Industry Ensure we can supply 100% of our own petrol, at least 40% of our Diesel and Jet Fuels Australia’s oil fields arent great for the heavy stuff such as diesel and jet fuels but it would make us less reliant on the global economy but again, that requires common sense which no currently politician has despite experiencing the COVID fiasco
David Pocock@DavidPocock

Australia burns through about 25 billion litres of petrol and diesel every year. Replacing petrol cars with EVs would cut our reliance on expensive imported foreign fuel. But EVs still make up only about 2% of Australia’s 20 million vehicles. More affordable EVs & a strong second-hand EV market can help more Australians afford the switch while strengthening our energy security. theguardian.com/environment/20…

Today the independent Reserve Bank Monetary Policy Board increased the cash rate by 25 basis points. We already had an inflation challenge in our economy but the war in the Middle East is making this challenge worse. At a time of immense global instability, this will put even more pressure on families and businesses. Many Australians were already doing it tough and are now feeling the impact of conflict in the Middle East through higher petrol prices as well. That’s why we’re rolling out responsible cost of living relief and taking action to give consumers a fair go at the bowser, through higher penalties, more surveillance and more supply.

An investigation by the CAevs found that in some areas of Wales, Chinese and Thai chicken accounted for 99% of Chicken served to Welsh school children. This is abhorrent on so many levels. Schools should be serving locally sourced whole-foods.

I think once again country vic will get shit on by metro Melbourne voters voting politicians in that couldn’t care less about our interests. We earn on average 20% less here in East Gippsland and trust me when I say the cost of living ain’t cheaper here. Also all of our key industries have been decimated by woke city politics that have no considerations for what it’s done to our communities. I for one would love to remove ourselves from the so called Victorian state government and have our own regional assembly, because it’s clear to me that they do nothing for those of us outside of metro Melbourne.

I want to hear your predictions for the Victorian state election in November. If you're one of my followers living in Vic, tell me what you think *will* happen; not what you *want* to happen. I'm curious.

If this is remotely true. It goes to show that these people have no idea about running a football club or about the fans. They should be moving heaven and earth to get Poch back. Even if it ends in failure, it’s something that needs to happen. His sacking has to be the worst decision in my 46 years supporting the club.

Would give this a maximum of 12 months before it blows up, the amount of home truths that De Zerbi would give our hierarchy, they wouldn’t be able to tolerate it. Another appointment just to try and save face of the utter mess we find ourselves in due to ENIC’s own incompetence.

🚨🚨𝐁𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐆 | Igor Tudor’s job is at serious, serious risk. 🔑Tottenham’s dream managerial target for right now is Roberto De Zerbi. ⚠️De Zerbi is the ideal person Spurs want, but depends on several things and is not easy. 📺[@FabrizioRomano via @YouTube] #THFC #COYS
