I mean, if Rick Dalton wasn't in the script, and Leo wasn't wanted/needed, the reports would just say, "Leo isn't in the movie." Words like "doubtful" and "unlikely" simply indicate, to me, that Leo IS negotiating, AND driving a hard bargain. As he should...
