@WhatTheForkAVFC That’s the thing, it’slike they want to edit out the past and it’s not even just ww2. They don’t really learn about the war of independence, just about the independence part itself. And most don’t realise they were involved in WW1 either.

I looked into what they know about the Battle of Bamber Bridge, and it’s basically been deleted from their history, and that to me is absolutely mental, yet not surprising because while looking into it i saw something from an American parent that’s moved over here and was surprised by how unedited our history lessons in school are when it comes to slavery etc.

I’m staying away from the Afghanistan/Iraq disrespect because i know people who served, it still affects them to this day, and lost people.. Both of my son’s Uncle’s served, so i’ll get too angry. However, i keep seeing WW2 being bought up, and it makes me wonder just how edited the American education system is to make themselves always look like the heroes.

There’s plenty of accounts that talk about us winning matches etc. whereas prime time is a pretty much unique account.
