Soil art was a hit in Room 21 , to go along with our Unit on Soils in the Environment in Science ! @marionLRSD

We had a great time at the Manitoba Museum last Thursday and were so excited about all the connections we could make to our learning through out the year ! @marionLRSD

We decided to mummify some apple slices to connect with our Unit on Egypt. It was a bit of a yucky experiment but neat to get a better understanding of the mummification process ! @marionLRSD

Today we learnt how to play Senet, a board game played in Ancient Egypt, the kids said it was SO fun ! @marionLRSD

We made papyrus paper and hieroglyphic name art for our Unit on Ancient Egypt ! @marionLRSD

Room 21 learnt about Abstract, Non-Objective and Realistic Art and used the Medicine Wheel to express all 3 of those forms of Art ! They turned out beautifully! @marionLRSD

We had so much fun painting our eggs with baking soda paint, then adding our colour and last watching the chemical reaction as we poured the vinegar onto the baking soda covered egg ! @marionLRSD
