@ThomHetheringto @simonbinns I can’t think of any destination dining pubs in the city centre I’m afraid. At the more casual end something like Leeds Brewery Eagle & Child may suit (pub classics) Market Cat (Pizza) Pavement Vaults (BBQ).

@simonbinns Ha! Still present. So many good places to eat in York, but more restaurants, the pubs are awesome for drinking. Roots is in a pub building but very much a restaurant. Vincent Arms a great food pub but just outside the city. @marshallgary is the man to give you current insight.
