@_HenryBolton Some people insist on pushing the line that brexit isn’t a disaster. They provide no justification for that statement, they just hope the ill informed will believe it if they repeat enough.

Whenever I have doubts about Brexit the EU steps in to remind me we were right to get out! However rocky it gets post Brexit, the EU is always there in all its shining corruption, petty spite and bureaucracy. I am very pleased to be (almost) free from their influence and laws.

Even after covid epic shitshow academics like pundits resolutely refuse to face procurement as a Brexit issue. Reminder: the gains from doing Vaccine Taskforce, INCONCEIVABLE WITHOUT BREXIT/VL, by itself outweigh any low level disruption, & Brexit gains will compound for decades

The question I’d ask leading Brexiters, if I ever got the chance, is: “What, exactly, did you think was going to happen?”

What you notice about those who threaten to quit the UK because they are "ashamed" to be British is that they never ever leave. Not one of them. Not ever. telegraph.co.uk/news/2021/09/0…

UK Steel has described the government’s proposal to remove steel import protections as ‘madness’. The government must change course, stand up for steel communities and defend our vital national economic interest. theguardian.com/business/2021/…

meanwhile skyfall was the biggest surprise. It looked utterly gorgeous and haunting, courtesy of Roger Deakins.
