@WBAdanno It’s about taking the path of less resistance, Dan. Managerial appointments are always gambles to varying degrees. Our playing squad is poor, but I have (slightly) more confidence that they’d give more for Mozza than they would for a new manager

We have seen a succession of failed gambles, and we cannot afford to gamble again. So, what’s the bigger gamble? Giving the job to Morrison, who knows and has respect from the players, or anyone else, with new ideas and no time to implement them? It simply HAS to be Mozza #WBA

@StevieClay Yeah, we’re about to appoint a new DoF, Dominic Price, who has been at Maccabi Tel Aviv for the last few years. That’s a step in the right direction. But our head of recruitment, Ian Pearce, is still in a job, which is really damaging

@martfully Having the right DoF and footba;lling strategy is so important these days. You can no longer flip flop about with managers who have different philosophy and styles expecting a bounce. it just doesnt happen does it. Maybe a summer appt. with a full pre-season to work, but otherwis

‘Jobs for the boys’ has been one of the most damaging mentalities at the club in recent years. Presuming Morrison will be in charge until the end of the season, it could now, ironically, be our best chance of survival #wba

I think I might need a social media break. There are elements of it that are vile. I post less often about our son’s #SEND #Autism #SpeechAndLanguage as a result & some replies to #WBA posts are becoming unsavoury. I like to interact, but may reduce that for a bit.
