@BucksCouncil @BBCWatchdog thank u 4 your email, I assume u are going to contact and refund all other blue badge holders that received a PCN for parking in the suspended disabled bays over those 2 days? And what alternative arrangements will you make for next time u have a building delivery?? EQUALITY ACT

@BucksCouncil car park full but ALL BLUE BADGE SPACES SUSPENDED 2 DAYS cos DELIVERY! No other wide bays were designated for wheelchairs so no way to get out of the car. No choice, parked,received PCN, appealed, unsuccessful,need to pay £70! @BBCWatchdog help? Equality Act?

@BucksCouncil @BBCWatchdog Surely this is against the equality act 2010, not offering the same product or service as a result of having g a disability what makes me laugh…is there wasn’t even a delivery as I was in the cafe watching my car as I thought I may get a ticket!!

@martine_wright @BBCWatchdog Thank you for your message. Unfortunately we are unable to discuss the specifics of a PCN being issued to an individual. However, it was necessary to temporarily suspend the bays at our Exchange Street Car Park to support the development works. [1/2]

@BucksCouncil @BBCWatchdog The spaces at the bottom of the car park were suspended too so there was not a car park to park in near the exchange shopping centre where they have a big boots pharmacy that I met many people trying to get that day and I know you gave them a PCN too.

@BucksCouncil @BBCWatchdog And also met an old couple who also needed to park for an appointment but again they could not get the wheelchair out of the car in a normal size space!

@BucksCouncil @BBCWatchdog Instead of removing all disabled bays why did u not make alternative bays for blue badge users to use instead? I met a lady who couldn’t get her son out of the car in electric chair for a docs appointment

@Raerae121 I remember! I’d also had a couple of sprained fingers from blocking a ball at the volleyball net 😂 hope you are well 😍

@martine_wright @guardian We met on the Jeremy Vine radio show many years ago. I’m a positive psychologist & am often asked to talk about post traumatic growth & resilience. I use an exercise, Resilience Hero & ask people to think of someone who has shown resilience & you are my resilience hero example
