🇦🇲🇦🇿🇪🇺 Delegation of top EU diplomats led by @OlofBSkoog touring the emptied Stepanakert. After helping Pashinyan and mediating the surrender of Karabakh in Prague in 2022, and after encouraging Armenia to continue the path of becoming an "anti-Russian" hub a few weeks ago during the European summit in Yerevan, a top EU delegation visited a depopulated, Armenian-free Karabakh.

The largest Azerbaijani population in Soviet Armenia was recorded in 1979: 160,841 people (5.3%). The largest Armenian population in Soviet Azerbaijan, incl. Nagorno-Karabakh, was recorded in 1970: 483,520 people (nearly 10%). Don’t circulate Azerbaijan’s fake 300,000 number.

I know a family whose entire year's work in the flower business has gone down the drain because the only country they could export to is Russia, and now they can't. All "thanks" to the destructive decisions of Pashinyan's Western-backed regime. I can't blame Russia at all. They have been showing great patience with this absurdity, but it's an actual sovereign country with every right to retaliate and protect itself. Key word: retaliate. Pashinyan's Western-installed regime started positioning itself as an "anti-Russian" hub first, inviting and hosting Russian enemies, and every day spewing anti-Russian hate. But who is going to be responsible for all the further losses and suffering that ordinary Armenians will bear? Armenians do not want a path of confrontation, but policies based on pragmatism, geography, and the state's capabilities, not illusions or foreign interests.
OC Media@OCMediaorg

Meanwhile, Russia has continued to escalate its economic pressure campaign on Armenia, this time by restricting the import of Armenian flowers. 🔗 Read more: oc-media.org/russia-denies-…

Regarding Tigranashen and changes on Google Maps 1/ Various users, pages, and public figures are writing about Google changing the name of Tigranashen to Karki. This change did NOT happen just now. I noticed and wrote about this back in November 2025. #Armenia #Azerbaijan

🇦🇲🇦🇿 Azerbaijanis visited Yerevan and other areas in Armenia, referring to them as "historic lands," and encouraged others to join them. "May God bless our president. He said we would not go to Armenia with tanks, we would go by car. And we went by car."

🇦🇲🇦🇿 A conference on the concept of "returning to Western Azerbaijan" was held at the Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC). "Officials and scientists speaking at the event stated that this concept is not only a restoration of historical memory but also a strategic approach focused on the future. It was noted that return means returning to native lands, national identity, and cultural heritage."

🇦🇲🇦🇿🇹🇷 Pashinyan lays the groundwork for the settlement of 300,000 Azerbaijanis in Armenia. "It is a fact that only now does the Republic of Armenia have a population that is 90 percent Armenian. There has never previously been a time when 90 percent of the population was Armenian. There has not been an Armenian state on the territory of present-day Armenia for 1,000 years. States existed here, but they were not Armenian states."

🇦🇲🇷🇺 On the "CSTO didn't help Armenia in 2022" false narrative. Some points: 1. Although, when coming to power via the 2018 color "Velvet" revolution, Pashinyan and his team tried not to openly show, as they do today, their intentions to change Armenia's strategic orientation, today this is clear even to blind eyes. We know for a fact that there is significant evidence of Pashinyan and his team openly calling for leaving the EAEU and CSTO, organizing anti-Russian protests, burning the Russian flag, etc., long before 2018. 2. One of the first things Pashinyan did after coming to power was arrest the head of the CSTO, Yuri Khachaturov, on fabricated charges and behind Russia's back, delegitimizing and discrediting the organization and demonstrably damaging trust with Russia from day one. 3. Following the 2020 war (which started after Pashinyan denounced negotiations and withdrew from them) and the signing of the November 9 agreement, Pashinyan had no intention of fulfilling its most important Article 9, calling into question Russian mediation. This is acknowledged by various Pashinyan-aligned experts and advisers, who say there was a behind the scenes political realignment before those incursions. The goal was to move on from the status quo of November 9, recognize Azerbaijan's territorial integrity, and, as a result, remove the Russian military presence in Karabakh. 4. Months before the incursions, Pashinyan openly stated in a public speech that Armenia "won't go to war over half of Sev Lake". The head of state declaring an intention not to defend a territory sends a clear signal. If you are not willing to defend "X" territory, then why would you defend "Y" territory? Naturally, this was a green light for Azerbaijan and, with backing from the West and Armenia refusing to fulfil Article 9 of the November 9 agreement, they went for it. 5. It is important to note that the Armenian leadership refused to organize any meaningful defense. No mobilization was carried out and, according to some reports, soldiers were ordered not to fight back. 6. Also important to note, and something you will not hear from Western propaganda outlets in Armenia, is that in 1993 Azerbaijan was part of the CST, and when the Armenian army was advancing, the CST did not aid Azerbaijan. There are various reasons for this, but what matters is that, with rhetoric such as "Artsakh is Armenia, period," Pashinyan completely blurred the line between what is considered CSTO defensive zone and what is not. 7. One can go into technicalities of what CSTO Article 4 entails, whether it requires an immediate military response or not, etc. I personally do not like viewing the issue from that prism. Nevertheless, the CSTO did in fact offer Armenia consultations and a monitoring mission. Pashinyan rejected this and opted for an EU monitoring mission (which will become a solely anti-Russian mission starting next year). 8. When Russia was in conflict in 2008, 2014, or 2022, naturally no one expected Armenia to fulfil its "obligations" and ruin relations with, for example, our critically important neighbour Georgia. But why do the same people expect Russia to position itself as more pro-Armenian and go into direct conflict with Azerbaijan and Turkey, while being bogged down in Ukraine, when the Armenian leadership itself refuses to defend and is only waiting for a pretext to stop hiding the ongoing shift in Armenia's strategic alignment? 9. Right after the attacks, a mass-organized and systematic narrative was created that "Armenia must change its alignment ASAP" (even though this process was already underway), and to this day it continues, while not a single alternative security system is on the table. One can critique and argue about the security system Armenia was in (even though Armenia had no reason to do so for three decades until the 2018 revolution), but if there is no alternative (and there still isn't one as of May 20, 2026), what is the point of deliberately dismantling the existing one? 10. Ultimately, it all comes down to the decision of Pashinyan's regime to sabotage and withdraw from negotiations in 2019, doing everything possible to trigger war, rejecting more favorable ceasefire offers, and making critical, both objective and subjective, intentional and unintentional mistakes during it, bringing the country to the situation it is in today. It comes down to their goal of changing Armenia's strategic alignment at the cost of Armenia's security and Karabakh. They have no one else to blame but themselves for it.

@hayqmets I am curious, what are your thoughts on the Russians failing to meet what was required of them through CSTO in 2022 when Azerbaijan occupied internationally recognized Armenian Territory? Im not anti Russia, but I am not pro them either. Just curious on your thoughts

“Ordinary Armenian mothers tore off Pashinyan’s ‘mask.’ We essentially witnessed how a leader who calls himself democratic behaves like a small hysterical dictator. Many should pay attention to the fact that ordinary Armenian women, who are neither party members nor opposition figures, fearlessly tell him the truth directly to his face. This irritates him because it is not the reality he wants to show his supporters.” — Tigran Kocharyan

@hayqmets Unfortunately I don’t see the opposition winning this election without support from Tehran and Moscow. If the West can rig the elections in Romania when the opposition candidate had over 80% of the vote and jail him. What do people think will happen in a small country like ours.

For anyone asking, "Isn't this going to tank his ratings?" The answer is no. This is a well-calculated and targeted approach from him. Pashinyan and his Civil Contract have, at best, 30% support in the country, and those 30% share values of being aggressively anti-Russian, having deep contempt toward Karabakh and Karabakh Armenians, being willing to justify humiliation and losses as "peace", those whose families/friends/relatives are tied to and benefit from the current regime in one way or another, and, overall, people with some of the worst qualities. So, his approach is to rally those people. He is not interested in what the rest will think of him. He wins every election as long as those 30% show up, and by making these moves, he fires up his base, creating a "life and death" mentality to show up and vote. Mandatory thanks to Sargsyan's wonderful constitution they adopted in 2015.
