@jnyrose Guess it also depends on the child. We’re quite fortunate in that the 4.5yr old is ok with routine and is a bit weirded out if we don’t follow the usuals. The near 1yr old is still a menace so not a good marker 😁Interesting though...

Some of the "key areas" don't exactly track for my kids (we have a bit of a run around before bed, as it really seems to cut down on the restlessness & helps everyone settle), but it's an interesting paper for sure. And we love reading together as our just before sleep activity!

Was straight up just talking to some of my other parent-friends about how bedtime has been such a struggle in lockdown. A study has defined for the first time what constitutes a good bedtime routine for children between the ages of two and eight. ow.ly/fs1p102AAN5
